David C. Cameron, ACTAR, has been awarded Full Accreditation as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR #1808). He has 9+ years of experience in Traffic Collision Investigation and Reconstruction.He is a lead investigator for a Northern California Police Agency, Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT).He has investigated more than 800 traffic collisions during this time as an investigator.He has qualified as an expert in the area of accident reconstruction.
David has been using a total station as a reconstruction tool for the past 6+ years, starting with the Sokkia Set 6a total station, with TDS Recon Data Collector.He has 700+ hours of traffic collision investigation and reconstruction training, with an additional 200+ hours of forensic mapping/CAD drawing training.
David has been a certified as a Forensic Mapping Specialist Since 2008.David has experience using the Sokkia Set 6a and Sokkia 630R total stations, TDS Recon data collector with Visual Statements MFX Data collector software, and with Vista FX2, Vista FX3, and Vista Edge FX CAD software.
David is a member of the California Association of Reconstruction Specialists (CAARS) where he currently serves on the Board of Directors, the Accident Reconstruction Network (ARC), and the Professional Society of Forensic Mapping (PSFM).
