Crime Scene Reconstruction Seminar - China
Mr. Boots spoke at a Crime Scene Reconstruction Seminar during September 26-29, 2011 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China.  The seminar was held at the Zhejian Police College which invited both foreign and national experts to introduce forensic technologies which may be helpful when reconstructing a crime scene.  

His presentation discussed the basics and advantages of using a CAD program to illustrate crime scenes.  There was also an introduction to Forensic Mapping of crime scenes using a total station to electronically capture crime scene measurements and seamlessly integrate with CAD software.

We are pleased to announce the addition of two ACTAR accredited reconstructionists to our staff.  Dave Cameron and Paul Wade are no strangers to Forensic Mapping or to the classroom.  Both have extensive experience in Forensic Mapping and both have taught as interim instructors in FactualDiagrams.com courses in the past.

2011 Office of Traffic Safety Leadership and Training Seminar
Mr. Boots is scheduled to speak at the upcoming seminar scheduled for April 20-22, 2011 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California.  He will present an eight hour block of instruction on Collision Investigation Training.  It will provide an update on vehicle crash data retrieval and post crash recovery of data.  An overview of the latest in forensic crash mapping techniques, the do's and don'ts of motor vehicle post crash inspections and a presentation on best practices in crash scene photography will be provided.  For more information visit the OTS seminar web site.
